Who we need:

• For the upcoming photo shoot we are looking for female dancers from ages 4 and older.
• Modeling experience is a plus but not a requirement. Dancers must be comfortable in front of a camera.
• Dance technique important based on age and experience. 

What we need:

• 3-4 quality photos quality images. Include a close-up smiling, full length dance poses with leotard, shoes or appropriate attire and side and back view.

Photoshoot Date

• Photoshoot date and fitting dates have not been set, we run photoshoots form March through May.
• Models are typically needed for morning session or afternoon session weekdays or weekends.
• We provide hair, makeup, tights, accessories and shoes (point shoes excluded).
• Location will be in North New Jersey Area.

Exclusivity:

• Dancers selected to appear in our 2023/2024 catalog agree to model exclusively for Laylas Dance Costumes.

Q: Will any of our information be shared or sold?
A: NO.  The application is exclusively used for model selection for upcoming catalog.

Q: How will I know if I am selected?
A: Due to the large number of entries we will only contact applicants that are selected for Auditions/Fitting.

Q: What happens after I am selected?
A: All models will require to attend auditions/fitting

Q: Do I have to be enrolled in dance classes?
A: No, but it is highly recommended. We require basic dance techniques during photoshoot.

Q: Do I need dance background?
A: Yes, based on ages and experience including point.

Q: If selected as model will I appear in the catalog or marketing materials for the upcoming season?
A: Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that photos will be used, however our goal is to promote all selected applicants.

Q: Will the photos be used on online?
A: Yes. In addition to our printed catalogs, photos will be used to promote Laylas Dance Costumes through digital catalog, trade shows and events, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram…), our websites in Canada www.LaylasDanceCostumes.CA, in the US www.LaylasDance.com, other websites that re-seal our costumes and marketing platforms targeting the dance industry
